HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) is an advanced aesthetic treatment that delivers focused ultrasound energy into deeper structural layers beneath the skin to stimulate natural collagen production and tissue tightening.
 
Often referred to as a non-surgical facelift, HIFU treatments are commonly used to improve the appearance of skin laxity, fine lines, jawline definition, and overall facial firmness without surgery, needles, or significant downtime.

What Is HIFU?
HIFU uses focused ultrasound technology to deliver controlled thermal energy into targeted layers beneath the skin, including the SMAS layer, which is commonly associated with surgical facelift procedures.
The stimulation process encourages collagen remodelling and gradual skin tightening over time.

Entry Requirements
This course is suitable for beginners as well as individuals with prior experience. No formal qualifications are required to enrol.
However, it is your responsibility to check with your insurance provider, local council, or relevant regulatory authority to ensure you meet the requirements necessary to legally offer treatments within your area.
We recommend holding a Level 3 qualification in Anatomy & Physiology or a related beauty qualification, as some insurance providers may require this. However, this is not mandatory to complete the course.

For online Theory + Practical courses, practical assessments are completed remotely by submitting case studies, treatment videos, and assessment work to our tutors for review.
Attendance at our academy is not required unless the course is specifically advertised as an in-person training course.
